MG Motor, a startup automaker based in the United Kingdom, has introduced its E-motion electric car at Auto Shanghai 2017. The car is built on an in-house modular architecture that can be expanded for use in several other potential EV builds.
The MG E-motion does 0-100 km/h (0-62 mph) in less than four seconds and has a range of 500 kilometers (311 miles).
MG also manufactures the ZS, which globally has logged over 20,000 registrations per month. MG is owned by SAIC Motor, a Chinese company.
