Evoke Electric Motorcycles, a China-based company, has launched a new grand touring motorcycle in North America. The Evoke 6061-GT is the longest-range battery-electric motorcycle on the market with an estimated range of 370 miles per charge (30 kWh battery). The new motorcycle’s name comes from its aerospace-grade twin-plate exo frame made of 6061 aluminum.
The motor on the Evoke 6061-GT produces 120 horsepower and 152 pound-feet of torque. This gives a 0-60m mph sprint of 4.4 seconds and a top speed of over 140 mph. The new axial flux motor is 41 percent lighter than its predecessor while producing more rotations per minute.
The Evoke 6061-GT is capable of DC fast charging, includes a three-way adjustable suspension, and a deep groove seat. The 2024 Evoke Motorcycles 6061-GT is available to order in Canada and the U.S. with deliveries beginning in April of 2024. European orders will begin in early 2024 for some regions.
