Rheinmetall Conducts Live-Fire Demos for USMC
American Rheinmetall Vehicles and Rheinmetall Canada have conducted live-fire capability demonstrations for the U.S. Marine Corps in Fort Clinton, Ohio. The Rheinmetall Mission Master is a family of autonomous, unmanned ground vehicles (A-UGV) paired with the Fieldranger Remotely Controlled Weapon Station (RCWS).

Mercedes-AMG Introduces New E 53 PHEV, 577 HP
Mercedes-AMG has introduced the 2025 E 53 HYBRID, a plug-in hybrid model that produces a total system output of 577 horsepower with some options raising that to 604. 0-60 mph sprints are 3.7 seconds, Mercedes says. Top speed is electronically limited to 174 mph with 87 mph of that available in all-electric driving.

StoreDot Signs Agreement With EVE Energy for Manufacturing
StoreDot, which develops extreme fast charging battery technology, has announced a collaborative agreement with EVE Energy for the manufacture of the company’s 100in5 extreme fast charging battery cells.

SiAT Partners With CSAC for Fast Charging Longevity Products
Taiwanese manufacturer SiAT has partnered with CS Aluminum Corporation (CSAC) to make CNT-coated aluminum foil carbon nanotubes for longer-lasting batteries. The technology works in lithium-ion, sodium, and supercapacitors.

Oak Ridge National Laboratory has demonstrated a light-duty passenger electric vehicle being charged wireless at 100 kW with 96 percent average efficiency using polyphase electromagnetic coupling coils.

CityAirbus NextGen Electric Airbus Prototype Debuts
Airbus has unveiled its fully electric CityAirbus NextGen prototype ahead of its upcoming maiden flight. The CityAirbus is a two-tonne class vertical takeoff and landing aircraft with a wing span of about 12 meters. It’s designed to fly about 80 km per charge with a cruising speed of 120 km/h.
