Porsche has introduced a new Cayenne model, a plug-in hybrid called the Turbo E-Hybrid. The model produces 739 PS (544 kW) and is the most powerful Porsche Cayenne to date. Both a standard SUV style and Coupe style will be offered. The 2023 Cayenne Turbo E-Hybrid follows the all-new Cayenne, introduced for 2023, and is the second of three hybrid models planned for the crossover (the first being a series hybrid).
The 2023 Porsche Cayenne Turbo E-Hybrid pairs a 4.0-liter turbocharged V8 engine with a 130 kW electric motor. Zero to sixty-two MPH (0-100km/h) time for the E-Hybrid model is rated at 3.7 seconds, Porsche says, and the top speed for the SUV is 183 mph. All-electric range is rated up to 51 miles. Battery size is 25.9 kWh. Gasoline range is roughly 200 miles after that.
Standard on the Cayenne Turbo E-Hybrid is an adaptive air suspension, a suite of advanced safety systems, and other equipment from the 2023 Cayenne models. The GT model, available only on the Coupe, will add performance features, including a 10mm body drop via the air suspension.
Pricing for the 2023 Porsche Cayenne Turbo E-Hybrid begins at €176,324 in Germany, including VAT. Pricing for other EU markets, Asia, and North America will be announced soon.
