Samsung DRVLINE is an open platform for advanced driver-assistance systems (ADAS). DRVLINE is both modular and scalable and can accommodate a wide range of automated driving requirements, scaling upwards to full autonomous driving.
DRVLINE hardware is now available for testing and development in an open environment. A baseboard system is the gateway while expansion boards add functionality in a scalable way with specialized hardware upgrades that can be integrated with minimal hardware fuss.
DRVLINE builds on the AUTOSAR Adaptive platform and runs on any POSIX OS, common in automotive design. With DRVLINE, Samsung is positioning itself as a partner for Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEM) and Mobility as a Service (MaaS) providers in the autonomous driving market. DRVLINE does not force the user to adopt proprietary technology as with other OEM providers in the ADAS arena.
